Lifebox and partners from across Sub Saharan Africa published guidance on preparing the surgical, obstetric, and anesthesia ecosystem for COVID-19 in Annals of Surgery. The major challenge will be maintaining provision of essential surgery and care while preserving precious resources, minimizing exposure of health care workers, and preventing transmission. Lifebox and ALIMA Develop COVID-19 Decision Tool

Lifebox collaborated with ALIMA to create a decision-making tool for using a pulse oximeter to help clinicians determine when oxygen support is needed for suspected COVID-19 patients.
