Lifebox Masterclasses at WSM
What’s a ‘Masterclass’? It’s a chance for AAGBI members to learn more about the global anaesthesia activities of their friends and colleagues.
How do you teach the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist in Madagascar? What does it take to take part in a legendary AAGBI Cycle?
These informal 30 minute conversations at the Lifebox stand are ideal for delegates looking to get involved in low-resource setting work – or to hear more about the difference their Association is making.
We’ve delivered these educational sessions at the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Annual Meeting every year since 2014, and we’re looking forward to talking global anaesthesia with our AAGBI colleagues at this year’s WSM. Take a look at our preliminary schedule below and join these sessions at stand 4.

The AAGBI and its members have been extremely supportive of our work over the years, most recently through Lifeboxes for Rio – a two year campaign which has raised over £96,000 for safer anaesthesia around the world.
Many thanks to everyone who helped support this campaign – we look forward to catching up with you at #WSMLondon17!
